While working on many IoT and FSI projects across the Asia Pacific and Europe, Aiken is also an evangelist and architect in distributed architecture, hybrid cloud solutions, and edge computing with a focus on banking, stock/FX exchange, and payment platforms. Aiken has 30 years of hardware and software design, development, and project management experience. He worked mostly in the UK before joining the Asia Pacific team with BEA and then Oracle. He was a Principal Architect with BEA and led the APAC ACE team with Oracle. In the UK, Aiken worked on applications for human genetic research before working on the UK National Health Service (NHS) IT projects.
