I wear a number of hats for the JSON Schema project. I've been part of the core team since 2015, and will be primary editor moving forward.

During the day I work for the Wellcome Sanger Institute as a web developer on long running project DECIPHER: https://www.sanger.ac.uk/science/tools/decipher-mapping-clinical-genome

Other JSON Schema work also includes: admin work, setup and maintain the offical slack, provide user support, look out for the teams general health and wellbeing, mediate difficiult topics, create tooling.

This year also set up https://jsonschema.dev, a web based JSON Schema validation playground, which is now the community defacto JSON Schema sharing tool for the community. Much more to come.
