Bharat is a client-facing IBM Distinguished Engineer and CTO for Financial Services. He has direct responsibility for Client Value, Technical Excellence, Business Outcomes and IBM’s Eminence. He is focused on three specific areas – innovation that matters to clients and the society at large – delivering growth for IBM – empower the technical community to spearhead new opportunities through positive leadership.

Bharat has served in a variety of technical leadership roles. He has twenty-six years of hands-on experience across industries and sectors. His areas of expertise and interests include Open Finance, Platform Business Models, Digital Transformation, Innovation, Technology Strategy and Transformation of the Enterprise Architecture.
