I have just finished my role as Chief Transformation Officer at Sohar International Bank based in Muscat, Oman, leading the transformation agenda, including information technology, digital, programme management, marketing, fintech, innovation, customer experience and process re-engineering.

Before this, I was Chief Digital Officer at Nordea Bank, one of the largest systemically important banks in Northern Europe, based in Denmark. I was responsible for conceiving and driving the bank's 3-year transformation plan. The Nordics is amongst the most digital savvy environments on the planet and the disruption was coming thick and fast so it was a fascinating experience to both develop and lead the bank's digital transformation.
