ABOUT
Understanding and learning emerging technologies such as Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT) and Serverless computing can be daunting. I can help you understand and implement these technologies using real-world use-cases that fit your organization.
What I do best?
At Exoblock I help companies in designing, architecting and developing blockchain, IoT and application integration solutions both on-premises and in de cloud. Besides that I am a developer advocate on Blockchain, IoT and Microservices.
Why am I an ideal candidate?
I started my professional career as a graphic designer and web developer in 2004, but shifted my focus to Fusion Middleware after graduating in 2007. In the next 10 years I constantly developed my skill on complex integration problems. During the last two years I transitioned from building service-oriented business processes using Fusion Middleware 12c, towards connecting the physical world with the world of Internet of Things using Oracle Cloud offerings and open source solutions. Besides investing in IoT, I also co-authored the first Oracle iPaaS book called Implementing Oracle Integration Cloud Service (published in 2017).
My fascination for using the latest technology had led to the research of Blockchain to replace the currently used B2B and B2C patterns and tooling. This resulted in me writing a book about Blockchain (across Oracle), which took me about 18 months, which explored the technology behind blockchain, the implications, real-world use-cases and how to implement your own permissioned blockchain.
What makes me a developer advocate?
I’m heavily involved in the Oracle developer community. I’m an speaker at conferences, author / blogger and participate in Podcasts.
