OpenAPI-based Code Generation has become Ubiquitous.

You can take your pick of Opensource or Proprietary tools that require only your OpenAPI Definition to generate API Clients and Reference Documentation.

However, OpenAPI and other popular API specification formats do not enforce any standards for Code Generation. Thus we often see Code Generators creating ugly or downright unusable code for API Definitions that are Syntactically and Semantically correct.

This talk will draw upon the learnings from analyzing over 1 million API Definitions in various formats, predominantly OpenAPI/Swagger.
